Market House Mission

In June of 2014, Sarah & Chelsea travelled to Valladolid, Mexico to stay at Sarah's father's bed & breakfast, Casa Hamaca Guesthouse. During their stay, the ladies of Market House were able to provide groceries, toiletries, and other necessities to about five poverty-stricken families in a small nearby village. Moved by the gratefulness of the villagers and inspired by their hope and positivity, Sarah & Chelsea decided to make an effort to return to the village and help even more families than before. By January of 2015, the ladies had collected enough donations to successfully aid an amazing total of thirty-three families on a second visit. Now, they feel more empowered than ever, and feel confident that they will be able to even further aid those villagers who changed their perspectives on life.

If you, too, feel the desire to help out these inspiring people and help make their daily burdens a little lighter, then there are plenty of ways that you can help! Market House accepts monetary donations to purchase groceries and handouts with, and additionally collects fleece blankets, shoes, toys, coloring books and crayons, notebooks and pencils, and children's books (in Spanish). You can now find Market House Mission products in the store, and a portion of the proceeds of each product will go towards the next trip. If you are interested in joining us in a future trip, or have a business and would like to contribute, then let us know! Let's work together.

You can read more about Casa Hamaca Guesthouse at their website.

Thank you so much for your love and support for Market House Mission. It is because of your help that we are able to so greatly impact the lives of those in need!
